Hellooooo againnnnn,
Ok before I start, I know I said that my next blogpost will be my makeup routine buuuuut lately I've been trying some new products that im kinda loving right know... Enough about that, you'll know everything once I do that blogpost :)
Now back to business, I'm sure you all heard about the ''50 shades of Grey'' hype am I right? Some of you will love it some of you read the book, others will hate it...
Anyways were not here to talk about the books or the story itself... (you still can share ur thoughts if you really want to, free country remember?? Lol) Today I'm here to talk to you about the collection that OPI released few months ago thats inspired by ''50 shades of grey''. As soon as I saw the news about the collection coming out, I knew I had to buy it because when it comes to nail polish I alwayyyysss go for grey, white, green, black ...... I don't know why but I love it ! I never wear pink (there you go a fact about me). And of course as usual, important or not, I talked about it to Safiya annnd few weeks later I found a gift in my mailbox...
Here you go, I had to take a picture of the lovely gift and packaging! I know she'll be reading this so, for the billion time now : Thank you babe ;).
This mini kit have six shades, it contains multiple shades of grey (haha of course...) and one only red.
First one is My silk tie (I know what your thinking about when your reading this haha) which is a silver metallic color. I was surprised how opaque it was when I applied it one coat was enough!
Then we have Dark side of the mood. This one is the darkest one in the kit and maybe the one that I will be wearing the most. Its a kinda dark bluish grey nothing more to say! Oh yes there is ! You can actually see a hint of shimmer in this one, very light tho!
Mooving on to the red one who's called Romantically involved. This one is THE perfect R E D nail polish. This is the Red that get you thinking about Monroe and her red lipstick, her sensuality, her beauty... (ok maybe its only me who sees all that throught a nailpolish...) I usually never wear red nailpolish I just don't like it on me, but will definitely wear this one!
Next is Shine for me. (Its like Mr Grey Is talking to us haha...) This one is not opaque in the picture because I only applied one coat, but when you apply 3 coats you'll get it opaque. This one is full of white and blue glitters.
I will be wearing this one with Cement the deal because both of them are pretty light so it adds something fun to a boring light grey color.
And last but not least, we have Embrace the Grey... At the begining I thought that this one and Cement the deal were the same, but once you apply it you see that Embrace the Grey is a bit darker than Cement the deal.
SOOOO I really loved this kit, it actually allowed me to give a chance to red nail polish. And also let's talk about the fact that each name is just amaaaazing and it makes you think about something specific in the books...
I dont think that the mini kit is available yet in France, but i'm sure you can find it on amazon. You can also buy the normal sizes at sephora France. :)
Anyways hope you like this article and stay tuned for the next one!
Until next time,
